HAWK Website
I accompanied the relauch of the HAWK’s (University of Applied Sciences and Arts) website over 2 years. Not only because of a large number of stakeholders, but also because of the sheer amount of different content types, this has been a very extensive project. As a member of a small internal team, I was involved in the concept phase in the early project stages. Later on, I took the role of the lead designer and also created a documentation for the design. On top of that, I was responsible for quality control of the technical realization, as that part was done by an external agency.
Besides all the technological challenges, the development of a proper design system has been a large challenge. It had to be able to tackle all the complexity and diversity of the site content and also had to ensure good extensibility over the coming years.
